Education
Education is the gateway to all development. When people are poor change agent need to find ways for them to be educated. Once they have some basic education, they can function well in the society by integrating themselves to whatever the society once to do and can even carryout their income generating activities well.

In one of our field visits, we meet with a mother who was trying to beg for help from us. We said mummy you can do it yourself she replied that if her children were educated like us they would have help her.
We said how you want them to be, she said you think if my father sent me to school, I will not have been here swimming in mosquitos bite and give me malaria. Which is a killer disease. I want all my children to be educated, if possible like yourself and do the same job for the public not like me hear instead of of escaping on malaria, I go to carry it myself because I want to have a living for this children.
They will all go to school, even I am the poorest person I won’t want my children to suffer in the community, they must be able read and write to help other illiterate people. I mean it; I must sell vegetables to meetup with their fees for school as much as possible and the rest I will seek for the people like yourself in the community.
From this community movement message, we can see that all the poor illiterate people in our network for development want their children to go to school. She said, ‘through illiteracy, we have realized that education enable people function well in the society.
Thus, educating the poor and their children by an NGO is in compliance to the Bankok Conference on Education for All and Dakar Plan of Action in 2000. Helping people to function well in the society is a great job and that is why we need committed donors who could join us help the poor in education for their children.
