About me
Mwangi’s track record of leadership for over a decade in public, private, and faith-based organizations enables him to leverage his extensive experience and network to empower and inspire organizations to achieve their equity goals through intentional and transformative leadership.
Recognized as an authority on innovation, strategic leadership, and advising, Mwangi has provided invaluable counsel on equity investing to high-net-worth individuals and philanthropic organizations, enabling them to make strategic and impactful decisions. Furthermore, Mwangi advises companies on developing and implementing inclusive hiring and retention practices, supporting them in fostering diverse, inclusive, and thriving workplace communities through storytelling and spiritual practices.
Mwangi graduated magna cum laude from San Francisco State University, where he pursued a dual bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations and a Master of Public Affairs from the Goldman School of Public Policy at the University of California Berkeley.
Among other accolades, Mwangi has received the President’s Volunteer Service Award from 44th President Barack Obama and was honored by the Georgia General Assembly with a Senate Resolution. He has also received the Gandhi Peace Award and the Morris Brown Medal of Peace.
